Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens through your account. You must provide accurate account information and only use the service in a lawful way.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, lists, catalogue entries, and other content you add. You grant Listening Journal the limited right to store, process, display, and back up that content so the service can work.

Intellectual property

The Listening Journal name, visual identity, software, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any rights in them. Rights in third-party names, artworks, recordings, and other catalogue material remain with their respective owners.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or security-compromising content. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape private data, or access other users' workspaces without permission.

Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Features may change as the product evolves, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, hosting, or operational reasons.

Account deactivation

You can request account deactivation from your profile. If your account is deactivated by mistake or you need permanent deletion, contact support@listening-journal.com.

Liability

Listening Journal is provided for personal information management. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect losses, loss of data caused by events outside its reasonable control, or use of the service contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed primarily by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
